Accomodation Invitation et Sign Up

Madrid, August 2005

Dear Zonta Friends,

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the Charter Event of Zonta Madrid Km.0 - the first Zonta club in Spain.

The Charter Event will take place at 12:30pm on Saturday, November 19, 2005 at the Casino de Madrid (www.casinodemadrid.es) in the presence of Zonta International president, Mary Ellen Bittner. The presentation will be followed in the evening by a formal black tie dinner, also at the Casino, offering menus by the renowned chef Ferrán Adriá of El Bulli restaurant.

We have also arranged a weekend of activities in Madrid (details of accommodation and organized tourist activities can be found in the attached programme), including guided tours, a flamenco show and a trip to the historic city of Toledo.

Zonta Madrid Km.0 has been set up through the dedication and hard work of many people (men and women) in Madrid who, like you, appreciate that a better world for women and children means a better world for everyone. We hope you will be able to join us at this presentation. However, if you cannot make it to the event, we would appreciate your support and invite you to make a donation to our club (donation details are available on the Sign-Up Form). Help us to make Zonta Madrid Km.0 as much of a success as Zonta International is around the world.
